Strong waves hit an oil tanker and it ran aground on the rocks of Koh Kood, Trat Province.

Today (17 Sep 2014) reporters reported that a large oil tanker was swept ashore by waves and wind on rocks in Koh Kood District, Trat Province. It was later discovered that the ship, named "Thai Laemthong 8", was a large oil tanker that was swept ashore by waves and wind on rocks south of Koh Kood, Village 4, Koh Kood Subdistrict, Koh Kood District, Trat Province, causing the right side of the ship to have a leak. The 10 crew members were unharmed.
